At DramaWay we provide process-based arts programs that facilitate social and life-skills development. DramaWay programs span the realm of the fine arts. Programs offered include theatre, dance, film, music, visual arts and even puppetry. All programs are created, geared and modified to suit individuals of all abilities.

DramaWay Multi Arts Enrichment Abilities Camp is an innovative summer program offering individuals of ALL abilities an eclectic exposure to varied means of creative expression. The integration of drama, film, dance and art as well as life skills training enriches campers as they embark on a fun-filled summer adventure! Read More

VisaWorks exposes participants to a wide variety of artistic mediums, materials, techniques and open-ended visual art experiences. Working with watercolor, tempera, acrylics, clay, and many others mediums, students will create artwork inspired by their imagination and surroundings. They will explore a range of media including drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, sculpture, and even photography. Through experimentation and interactive activities, participants will develop their art-making skills and explore personal areas of creative interest. The session will end with a gallery show case at the DramaWorks year end productions where their art work will be featured for family and friends. Read More

The DramaWay SingingWorks program expands participants’ musical abilities while focusing on their individual strengths and talents. The program is led and taught by a local independent vocalist who performs professionally in and around the GTA. Adaptive teaching techniques assist participants in developing their musical skills including tone, pitch, rhythm, and movement. Previous music training is not required to enroll in this program. Beginners and experienced music lovers are welcome! SingingWorks culminates in an end of year Open Class Presentation on site where participants will perform for family and friends. Read More

Our highly successful DramaWorks (special needs ages 14+) program is back for another year! Created and facilitated by DramaWay’s founder, Danielle Strnad, DramaWorks offers a unique year-long creative experience. An engaging drama environment allows participants to expand their life skills and self-awareness through the use of drama games, while working towards a final production. Movie buffs and aspiring film artist broaden their knowledge of filmmaking. Ideas are turned into scripts, directorial skills are acquired and the fundamentals of movie magic are explained. GroovyWorks is an exciting creative movement group experience geared and modified to provide a creative outlet children ages 9 to 12. It is a program that blends DramaWays’ PlayWorks and RhythmWorks programming. GroovyWorks is designed to help participants explore the elements of dance and theatre. Read More

NEW! This Creative Drama program is being offered at Etobicoke Montessori School to give your child the opportunity to grow in a creative environment. This hands-on experience is based on weekly themes promoting self-discovery. Your child will be introduced to dramatic guided storytelling, creative movement, imaginative play, visual arts and music. PuppetWorks is an innovative and unique blend of puppetry, visual arts, creative drama and improvisation. Participants craft new puppets every two weeks – finger puppets, glove puppets, rod puppets, sock puppets, shadow-puppets, even marionettes! Participants bring these characters to life while experimenting as puppeteer and performer. PuppetWorks culminates in an open class presentation where an original show featuring every participant’s favorite puppet is performed for family and friends!
