Creative Drama Assistant/Support Staff
Angela Cha
Before being able to write, Angela drew. Her first love has always been the visual arts, particularly arts and crafts, drawing and painting. More recently, she has developed a keen interest in other forms of the expressive arts such as photography, theatre and film. She performed in two French theatre productions at Theatre Glendon, “Dom Juan” (2008) and “Les quatre morts de Marie” (2009). She also assisted as the Set Decorator for Gerald Fantone’s film, “Play. Stop. Rewind” (2009) and as the Props Master for Matthew Yipchuck’s film, “Bad Luke” (2009).
Angela recently graduated from York University, Glendon College with a B.A. Honours Degree in Psychology and French Studies. Her passion is working with individuals with special needs, particularly autism. She has been volunteering and working at the Geneva Centre for Autism for over 5 years and has gained a significant understanding of the challenges and successes involved when working with such a unique population. Her future aspirations include exploring Expressive Art Therapies for individuals with autism. Angela strongly believes art is a universal form of communication that can be spoken and understood by all.
