We recently wrapped Out Of My Mind in Toronto. It was a wonderful production in which our 13-year old lead actor who has cerebral palsy and uses a powered wheelchair, worked every single day.
We had actors and crew members spanning the full spectrum of abilities who were also part of our team. So much of the success of the production was due to the wonderful PACs (aka our All Access Team).
Danielle Strnad from DramaWay in Toronto, joined us as our Accessibility Coordinator and she and her Team led us with tireless energy, creativity, dedication, and hard work.
Peter Saraf, Award Winning Film Producer
Dramaway has been offering creative arts programming for our Pegasus participants for many years. We are always delighted with Dramaway programs.
The Dramaway facilitators are extremely skilled and consistently offer quality content for our participants of all abilities.
They do an excellent job at adapting and meeting all the needs of our participants. Thank you Dramaway.
Ketri Wakefield, Primary Counsellor
For ErinoakKids, the DramaWay program founded by Danielle Strnad, represents a vitally important service we can offer our clients and families, helping us go beyond government-funded core therapy services to help children achieve their fullest potential.
ErinoakKids has worked with Danielle since the program's inception in 1999. Danielle's program has also inspired hundreds of volunteers who become dedicated, and often go on to pursue careers in children's health.
I have been both astonished and uplifted by what Danielle is able to accomplish for the children and families we serve.
Adrienne Boyes, Clinical Operations Manager
This program gave at-risk credit deficient students in our school the opportunity to work in an integrated setting and allowed them to take a leadership role.
The connection and friendships that developed over the 8-weeks will surely last well beyond the program itself. It was an absolute pleasure working with Danielle and I know the students will miss her weekly visits.
Her positive energy and encouragement as a Facilitator enabled staff and students to step out of their comfort zone and to have fun singing, dancing and acting!
Tracy Intini, Planning for Independent Teacher
From staff to students, everyone was captivated by the program and the Facilitators' ability to modify the workshop to meet the needs of each student.
The program is highly recommended and instantly related to students and staff feeling motivated to join in and participate while developing the students' skillsets while building self-confidence.
We witnessed personal growth in all our students as they had a chance to shine during the drama exercises.
Gerry Cullen & Debra Jackson, Teacher
We always look forward to Danielle's InterACTion Sessions with our all abilities students.
She always includes all students, in different ways throughout the program with her creative stories and movement.
It was an excellent opportunity through reverse integration to participate in an exciting and fun weekly activity with the children in my class.
Dolores Wilson, Teacher
Hey there, everyone! My name is Aldene, and I've been part of DramaWay Productions for an incredible 23 years! DramaWay has made a big difference in my life. It has helped me so much by offering me compassion and support over the years, while also boosting my confidence level.
Being a part of the DramaWay programs has shown me how it’s possible to have fun in so many different ways, and it’s really shown me how powerful it is to think positive thoughts instead of negative thoughts. We are always celebrating each other’s successes and strengths together in the DramaWay groups.
Along with helping build my confidence level, DramaWay has also helped me to find a job! Through DramaWay, I was connected to OWLware Ltd.’s Food Services and Hospitality program, where I learned kitchen skills and food prep skills. Upon graduating from the program, I was able to get a paid job working in a bakery!
Having a sense of independence and being able to contribute to my community means a lot to me. The skills I've learned at DramaWay have definitely come in handy outside of class. I've learned how to work well with others, be a team player, and make lasting friendships. I really value all my friendships with the other actors, facilitators and volunteers at DramaWay.

Hi there, it's Andrew H. here, and I'm excited to share with you how DramaWay Productions has been a wonderful part of my life for well over the past 8 years now. It’s been a safe, friendly, and inclusive space that has let me develop my acting and public speaking skills. My fellow actors have definitely inspired me as well along the way.
Each term and new year brings an exciting adventure, and I always look forward to connecting with my DramaWay community every week. Their programs have played a huge role in boosting my confidence while also giving me lots of opportunities for leadership roles during class time and performances.
Whether it was attending their arts camps or their Theatre programs, the DramaWay environment has consistently made me feel supported and confident to develop my advocacy skills even far beyond the stage.
Outside of DramaWay, I'm actively involved in my community. I participate in Bocce with Cruisers Sports, which is super fun!
I am also taking two college courses through Seneca College and Humber College, and recently I found out that I’ve been accepted into Humber's Radio Broadcasting program for the fall of 2024. I couldn't be more excited to be following in the footsteps of amazing radio personalities like Roz Weston of the Roz and Mocha Show.

My sister, who has Down syndrome, absolutely loves all of the wonderful and engaging programs offered by DramaWay!
The entire DramaWay team, including its volunteers, are incredible.
The team quickly adapted and developed a spectacular roster of virtual programming options from the start of the pandemic. They have made such a positive impact in keeping the DramaWay community connected.
Many thanks to Danielle Strnad and the DramaWay team for your continued hard work, efforts and dedication to making this program so amazing. We are very grateful and appreciative for all that you do!

Our Son, Joey, has been going to DramaWay for the past several years. He looks forward to seeing everyone in his weekly Drama Program and this year is also participating in their Move Program.
The volunteers and Facilitators are kind, talented and welcoming. When Covid hit they wasted no time in going online with classes on Zoom as they realize what an important part they play in their participants' lives.
Without these online classes most of the participants would have no social life whatsoever. I applaud DramaWay, thank them and highly recommend their programs. Bravo!!!
